Alessio Pozzoli started working with Sesta in 1999 developing a modular divan with substitutable seating. That modular divan, Tommy, was subsequently presented in 2000 at the Cologne Orgatec fair with a variety of different seats: Polypropylene, beechwood, laminate, hide and padded. Tommy contributed to the success of Sesta as a Company sensitive to the furniture design needs of the office and the community. In 2003 Pozzoli offered solutions to Sesta's need to integrate its line of seating for waiting areas with a single, coloured, easily recognizable seat develop, in collaboration with Sesta, the Day&Night armchair presented at Eimu 2004. Made of Polyethylene and available in 8 colours, with various bases, Day&Night became the star of the Sesta catalogue thanks to the strongly expressive personality of its forms and colours. Moreover, by adding a cushion Day&Night is easily transformed into an piece of furniture for a conversation area or hotel room.
