Giovanni Baccolini has been working with Sesta since 1996. After designing the Cherie executive collection, he developed the Ta-Cherie programme for community seating. In 1999 he designed the Carina series, which contributed to Sesta's achieving international recognition for its brand by reaching an annual average production of 30.000 units in the community and public furnishing sector. 2002 saw Baccolini give expression to Sesta's need to develop a wide-ranging programme for community furnishing by applying the philosophy behind the Carina series: this led to the birth of Easy and EasyGO, the latter being a versatile seating element aimed at conference, educational and meeting areas. With the completion of the community and public furnishing programme, Eimu 2006 saw the launch of GO Conference, a seating concept based on beams with tip-up seats for conference and educational settings, GO Panca, a collection of beam-based seating with fixed seats for waiting areas, and Four, a seat aimed at a wide range of uses and therefore available in many different variants of colour and materials..
